we love october for so many reasons and one of them is getting to support breast cancer awareness month and help spread the word about finding a cure for this disease. we have very close friends + family members that have had breast cancer. many of them kicked cancer in the butt and are now cancer-free survivors! sadly several did not win the fight and have had their lives taken from cancer. the truth is, most of you can probably say the same thing. cancer really sucks and our greatest hope is that a cure will be found soon for ALL cancers so that our kids and grandkids will never have to worry about the "c" word.
we want to help in a big way! so for the entire month of october, we will donate a portion of all photo print order proceeds to various breast cancer charitable organizations...so please get ordering!
also, while we are talking about cancer, i totally forgot about another organization that i just love that i should have added to my very abbreviated list of charity suggestions for our new wedding clients...brides against breast cancer. please check it out if you have not heard about it!
and lastly, on a personal note we want to commend all of the participants in the breast cancer 3 day walk especially my sister's mother-in-law, vickie! we will be cheering you on for all 60 miles of it!
